At St. Michael’s School your child will be challenged; challenged to become passionate about learning, to understand the learning process, and to develop into powerful thinkers, academically and spiritually.  

Through collaboration and communication between students, parents, teachers, administrator and specialized professionals, we learn how to best serve the needs of our students so they personally succeed. 

St. Michael’s School follows the Ministry of BC curriculum and learning initiatives.  All staff members are part of the Teacher Regulation Branch and must be BC certified. 

Teachers are motivated and excited to apply innovative and current teaching practices.  Differentiated instruction, individualized learning, and unique assessment are concepts we use for the learning process to create the framework for learning. 

Our goal at St. Michael’s is to engage and support our future leaders to become productive and responsible members of their community now and in the future.

Classrooms are equipped with technology additionally, students have the ability to use personal technological devices to extend their learning.  As an environmentally conscious school, all classrooms recycle and compost to reduce our carbon footprint.

St. Michael’s offers students a variety of programs, both academic and extra-curricular in the areas of Critical and Inventive Thinking, Effective Communication, Sports and Leadership, and the Dramatic Arts.  Science Fair, Speech Contest, and Christmas Concert are just some of the programs offered at our school geared towards extending the learning process to develop independent learners. 

All programs are designed to meet the academic, spiritual, social, and physical needs of our students.
