Daily Time Schedule

In order to accommodate our extended curriculum, we have an extended day, which means our instructional day is longer than that required by the Ministry of Education. Our daily schedule is as follows:

Recesses
During outdoor recess, students must go outside unless they have a note from their parents, are working with a teacher, or serving a detention.


Supervision Students are supervised 15 minutes before school, during recess, lunch, and while boarding the buses after school.  Morning playground supervision starts at 8:10 am; after school supervision until 3:15 pm.

 

News

The support and networking we have established with our generous community providers, offers our students

  • active involvment with the Holy Childhood Association
  • Italian classes for all children K-5 generously supported by Cristoforo Colombo Lodge
  • Parishioners volunteer in the school helping out with students and maintenance of the building
  • Students are partnered with "grandparents" at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital at Poplar Ridge
  • Students enjoy skating and curling at the Trail Cominco Arena
  • The school has two foster children - one from ChildCare International and one from Guatemala
